Our client is seeking a talented Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. With a competitive salary of £30-45K DOE, along with an attractive benefits package, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for career growth and development.
 
Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include:

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts
• Assist with the production of budgets and forecasts
• Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with the production of balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with the reconciliation of all control accounts on a regular basis
• Produce monthly expenditure and head count reports
• Participate in financial analysis and ad-hoc projects as required
• Liaise with external auditors as required
• Authorisation of invoices
• Support the Financial Controller in producing and maintaining all financial controls documentation

• Part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with relevant experience in management accounting
• Advanced Excel modelling skills
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
