Our client is seeking a talented Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. With a competitive salary of £30-45K DOE, along with an attractive benefits package, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for career growth and development.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include:
Assist in the preparation of management accounts
Assist with the production of budgets and forecasts
Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Assist with the production of balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist with the reconciliation of all control accounts on a regular basis
Produce monthly expenditure and head count reports
Participate in financial analysis and ad-hoc projects as required
Liaise with external auditors as required
Authorisation of invoices
Support the Financial Controller in producing and maintaining all financial controls documentation
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will require the following attributes:
Part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with relevant experience in management accounting
Advanced Excel modelling skills
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
