Sheridan Maine is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Credit Controller to join a rapidly expanding business. Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:
Manage the credit control function, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding debts
Maintain the sales ledger and communicate with relevant parties, both internal and external, to ensure accuracy of systems data
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues at all levels
Evaluate and monitor creditworthiness of new and existing customers
Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment disputes and customer queries
Prepare accurate reports and provide insights on credit control performance
Reconcile accounts and resolve queries in respect of sales ledger transactions
Assist in approving invoices for production and distribution to clients
Actively participate in process improvement projects to enhance credit control practices
You will need to the following attributes to be a successful Credit Controller:
Proven experience as a Credit Controller
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships at all levels
Excellent organisational skills - ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
