Sheridan Maine is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Credit Controller to join a rapidly expanding business. Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:

• Manage the credit control function, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding debts
• Maintain the sales ledger and communicate with relevant parties, both internal and external, to ensure accuracy of systems data
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues at all levels
• Evaluate and monitor creditworthiness of new and existing customers
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment disputes and customer queries
• Prepare accurate reports and provide insights on credit control performance
• Reconcile accounts and resolve queries in respect of sales ledger transactions
• Assist in approving invoices for production and distribution to clients
• Actively participate in process improvement projects to enhance credit control practices

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships at all levels
• Excellent organisational skills - ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
