We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Compliance Officer to join an established and successful company based in the Midlands.
 
Your responsibilities as the Compliance Officer will include:

• Conduct thorough assessments of existing IT systems, management procedures, security protocols, and controls to identify areas for improvement
• Continuously develop, maintain, and enhance accreditations and management systems such as GDPR, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS, BACS, and other relevant frameworks to ensure alignment with business and legal obligations
• Proactively identify and communicate security risks while proposing effective solutions for improvement
• Provide support in managing GDPR and security requirements for suppliers and sub-processors
• Execute and support internal and external audits, while collaborating with other departments to establish and implement appropriate processes and procedures
• Liaising with teams responsible for data subject rights request and privacy queries.
• Oversee and coordinate responses to personal data breaches and incidents

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in compliance or a strong interest in a career in compliance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using relevant compliance tools and software
