Sheridan Maine are supporting a leading employer based in the Greater Southampton area to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant who will join a successful and established team. The organisation is renowned for their range of benefits and focus on employee welfare and this role will offer the flexibility for hybrid working.
Working as part of the financial reporting team you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting and reconciliation of the consolidated balance sheet including producing annual financial statements for the UK entities. This will also involve preparation of ad hoc financial reports, involvement in projects and continuous liaison with various key stakeholders as well as external auditors at year end.
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with prior experience of producing financial and statutory accounts. Exposure to consolidations and IFRS would also be beneficial but not essential.
Good IT skills including Excel and also exposure to larger ERP systems such as Oracle would also be a plus as would the ability to interpret financial data.
