Our esteemed partner, an established and highly regarded organisation in Bristol, is actively seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical expertise, guidance, and effective leadership to a dedicated group of Finance Business Partners.
 
As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to the team, while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, Finance leaders and other external entities.  This role requires a strong understanding of the accounting industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving business growth.
 
Your responsibilities as the Senior Finance Business Partner will include:

  • Lead and manage a team of Finance Business Partners, providing guidance and support in their partnership activities
  • Act as the primary technical advisor to the team, ensuring a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as industry best practices
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at partner organisations, including partners, directors, and decision-makers
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to monitor performance, address challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development to the team, ensuring their success in promoting and selling the company's offerings
  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of financial and fiscal statements for external stakeholders, including Group, Audit, Legal, and other entities
  • Foster collaboration within the team to drive continuous process improvement and identify any internal inefficiencies
  • Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company's compliance
 
What you will need to be great for this role:
  • Professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Significant management experience
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, or a similar role - preferably in a multi-national company
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, preferably SAP
