Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner an award-winning Hospitality Group to recruit a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst into its team.  As the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial success and supporting the strategic decision-making process within the organisation. Working closely with the Sales teams, you will be responsible for analysing financial data, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights to optimise performance and profitability.
 
Your responsibilities as the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will include:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans to support strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial models, pricing strategies, and investment proposals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting variances and key metrics to senior management
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for driving profitability and cost efficiency
• Assist in the development and enhancement of financial systems, processes, and controls
• Finance Business Partner to the to the Global Head of Sales, providing financial support, insight and independent challenge to assess key decisions and drive key strategies and initiatives
• Supporting the Sales teams in the understanding of financials, including key drivers of revenue and margin and developing opportunities for revenue and cost optimisation

• Experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Finance or Marketing Finance
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Commercially aware
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
