Responsibilities of the Junior Fund Accountant will include:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and other financial information for assigned funds
  • Participate in the daily reconciliation and analysis of fund positions, transactions, and valuations
  • Contribute to the month-end valuation process
  • Collaborate closely with experienced professionals across different teams to ensure efficient fund operations
  • Aid in the preparation of regulatory filings and assist with audit requirements
  • Calculate current and projected fund level returns and IRRs
 
What you will need to be a successful Junior Fund Accountant:
  • Qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience preferably with a focus on private equity or private debt strategies
  • Knowledge of SPVs structures and reconciliations of SPV equity with the underlying fund investments
  • Basic understanding of various financial products (bank debt, equities, distressed debt, corporate bonds and FX forwards)
