Sheridan Maine is working closely with a leading and growing business based in Poole to secure a Finance Manager for the business. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the small Finance team; overseeing the reporting monthly, quarterly and yearly against budget, managing risk and cash flow. The successful candidate will be highly analytical and commercially minded.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include but not limited to:
Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory accounts
Produce financial statements including P&L, cashflow, variance analysis and commentaries
Analyse monthly information
Ensure tax compliance globally and complete all tax returns as required
Manage the Finance team
Provide accurate management reporting to assist with key decision making
Conduct risk management and make recommendations accordingly
Review accounting processes and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
Monitor cash flow
The successful Finance Manager will possess the following experiences and skills:
Qualified accountant, QBE or studying towards qualification
Proven experience working in a similar role
In-depth understanding of management accounts reporting
Excellent knowledge of data analysis
