Sheridan Maine is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join a well-established and reputable business operating in Tewkesbury. With a strong presence in the industry, they have built a solid reputation for delivering exceptional products and services to their customers. As an Accounts Assistant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to their continued success and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
 
Your responsibilities as the Accounts Assistant will include but will not be limited to:

  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring accuracy and checking for discrepancies
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Coding and posting of invoices, expense claims and journals
  • Maintenance of customer Direct Debit process – includes regular liaison with the credit control department
  • Provision of a range of analysis - including profit and loss account and cash book analysis
 
To be considered for this role, you will require the following attributes: 
  • AAT qualified to level 3 or, ideally level 4
  • Confident with using Sage 200 or similar accounting system
  • Great attention to detail and an inquisitive nature
