Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with an established multi-site organisation, with offices based on the outskirts of Poole, to recruit for a Payroll & Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team on a permanent basis. 

Responsibilities of the Payroll & Accounts Assistant will include:

  • Processing the monthly payroll
  • Inputting starters and leavers
  • Calculating and applying and deductions
  • Dealing with payroll related queries
  • Supporting with ad-hoc finance related duties
  • Day to day finance processing including purchase ledger invoices
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Responsible for the weekly payment run
 The successful Accounts & Payroll Assistant will require the following attributes:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Strong IT skills - ability to use Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
