Sheridan Maine is delighted to announce its partnership with an independently owned and thriving SME to assist with their search for a skilled Management Accountant. 
 
This is a wide-ranging role that primarily focuses on the business and commercial aspects while also offering support for transactional tasks. This role provides an opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in the diverse range of financial activities within SME operations.
 
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

• Pivotal role in the month end process and preparation of the management accounts covering areas such as accruals, prepayment, inventory and fixed assets and management reporting
• Provision of a wide range of analysis including sales and margin analysis
• Inventory and inventory provision accounting
• Manage and oversee the invoicing process and maintaining control over sales
• Cashflow forecasting
• Process VAT returns
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.

• 3 years finance or accounting experience
• Accounting qualifications desirable but not essential
• Experience of financial analysis and management reporting
