A leading Financial Services organisation near Bristol is looking for a Junior FP&A Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior members of the finance team to provide key financial analysis and insights to drive business performance.
 
The company operate a hybrid working policy with 2 or 3 days per week worked remotely.
 
Responsibilities of the Junior FP&A Analyst will include and are not limited to:

  • Analyse and report on financial and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Understand results and trends within the business, providing analysis that allows leadership teams to deliver on their operational responsibilities and take actions to drive performance
  • Ensure the identification and communication of specific competitive/market issues to prompt mitigating, pre-emptive actions
  • Supporting the Chief Finance Officers as required
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Support the audit programme (internal/external) as appropriate
  • Support ad hoc projects as they arise
 
The successful Junior FP&A Analyst will require the following skills and experience:
  • Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or nearly qualified
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience in financial analysis or a related field is a plus
