We are a leading recruitment company that specialises in matching top-quality candidates with leading organisations across a wide range of industries. Currently, we are working with a prominent construction company based in Walsall, who are seeking to hire a temporary Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include:
Assist with month end, including processing month-end journals
Produce balance sheet and cash flow reports
Balance sheet reconciliations
Consolidate results for group reporting
Prepare VAT returns
Provide support to the Sales ledger team
Various ad-hoc projects
The successful Financial Accountant will require the following attributes:
CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant
Good commercial and business understanding
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
This is a maternity cover for a period of 6-9 months with potential for extension to 12 months.
