Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner a Winchester based Practice in their search for an Accounts & Audit Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with a collaborative and supportive work culture.
Responsibilities of the Accounts & Audit Assistant will include:
Accurately prepare accounts from client records for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies
Prepare a comprehensive file for manager review, which is complete with lead and supporting schedules and which is neat and tidy
Cope with several accounts preparation jobs at any one time whilst maintaining deadlines
Maintain up to date knowledge of audit procedures and provide assistance on audits when required
Proactively deal with clients
Updating of client profiles on internal system
Participating with client visits
Preparation of VAT Returns
Preparation of CIS Returns
Assisting where necessary with the training of junior staff
Our client is seeking a part-qualified candidate AAT L3+ who is looking to progress to study ACA/ACCA.

This position involves a hybrid work arrangement, where the successful candidate is required to work three days per week at the office.
