Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner a Winchester based Practice in their search for an Accounts & Audit Assistant.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with a collaborative and supportive work culture.
 
Responsibilities of the Accounts & Audit Assistant will include:

  • Accurately prepare accounts from client records for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies
  • Prepare a comprehensive file for manager review, which is complete with lead and supporting schedules and which is neat and tidy
  • Cope with several accounts preparation jobs at any one time whilst maintaining deadlines
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of audit procedures and provide assistance on audits when required
  • Proactively deal with clients
  • Updating of client profiles on internal system
  • Participating with client visits
  • Preparation of VAT Returns
  • Preparation of CIS Returns
  • Assisting where necessary with the training of junior staff
 
Our client is seeking a part-qualified candidate AAT L3+ who is looking to progress to study ACA/ACCA.

This position involves a hybrid work arrangement, where the successful candidate is required to work three days per week at the office.
