Are you an experienced and skilled Accountant seeking an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in a dynamic and thriving organisation? Look no further! We are currently partnering with a prestigious property development organisation that has an exciting opening for a Senior Accountant position.
Your responsibilities as the Senior Accountant will include and not limited to:
Responsible for the annual budget, monthly cash flows, quarterly management accounts and other reports
Supervision of junior team members
Review the monthly bank reconciliations and quarterly rent reconciliation
Ownership for monthly journal postings for corporate entities alongside bank reconciliations
Preparation of quarterly balance sheet reconciliation
Support the Finance Manager in process improvements and development of team
Review monthly VAT reports and prepare/review VAT returns for submission to HMRC
Review/prepare year-end statutory accounts under IFRS
Assist with the quarterly internal audits and year-end audits
Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and support the finance team in driving operational excellence
What you will need to succeed in this role:
This position will ideally suit a newly qualified accountant
Experience within the Property sector is essential
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical accounting knowledge of key accounting standards
This is a unique hybrid working position, with four days per week based in the office.
