Our client, a market leading manufacturer in their field, is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a unique opportunity to interact with key senior leaders on a regular basis. Therefore, a confident and professional approach to stakeholder management, combined with a technically sound accounting knowledge and a strong desire to create value, is essential.
 
This role is a hybrid position, with the option to work remotely for two days, and the remainder based on-site in Telford.
 
The Role
Responsible for the reporting and continual improvement of all areas of the business' costbase, inventory and labour rates, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the reporting processes for decision-making around costs, stock and labour rates
  • Provide financial support to cost centre managers
  • Establish business charging rates and upload supplier reports
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting – challenge and analyse the inputs with the FP&A team for senior leadership review
  • Collaborate with management accounting team for reporting and forecasting. Provide input to internal and external reporting
  • Liaise with Shareholders and external customers
  • Manage inventory policy and conduct regular reviews
 
The successful Senior Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or studying – QBE also considered
  • Manufacturing experience - costing, inventory etc, 
  • Experience of finance business partnering to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of using a finance system (knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential)

Salary to £48k, bonus, hybrid working, 1pm finish on Fridays, pension to 10%, at least 25 days annual leave with option to buy and additional for long service, plus more.
