Our client, a Midlands based public sector organisation, is seeking a talented Accounts Assistant to join their ever-growing team in a temporary position. As the Accounts Assistant you will lead on aspects of the Financial Accounting and support Treasury Management within the Pensions, Investment and Treasury departments. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the Pension Fund ledger, supporting the production of pension fund accounts and annual reports, and acting as a point of contact for daily investments.
We are looking for someone who can start ASAP to hit the ground running in this exciting opportunity. To be successful in this role, you will have AAT L4 qualification or 3 years' experience within a Finance environment. You will also have experience supervising and managing a small team, the ability to independently interpret and analyse varied and complex information or situations, and strong ledger experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables and vlookups, is desirable.
