A fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation based in the Southampton area for a commercial/analytically and qualified accountant. You will work as part of the Finance Business Partnering team with oversight for planning, forecasting and performance analysis for a key business area.
The company operate a hybrid working policy with a flexible 2 days a week onsite and the rest worked from home.
 
Key responsibilities will include:

• Working as an embedded finance partner within a key business function to supply reliable, timely and accurate analysis of the financial data to include providing an understanding of performance drivers.
• Providing insight to proactively identify opportunities for improvements in business performance.
• Support the planning and forecasting process.
• Work collaboratively with other senior analysts/business partners to support ad hoc change projects

 The successful candidate will need to be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally with previous experience of working in an analytically focused role. Prior business partnering exposure would be an advantage, however a commercially focused individual with the enthusiasm and analytical curiosity to want to add value to the business would definitely be considered. Strong communication and relationship building skills are key. Good IT and financial modelling skills would be a real advantage in this role.
 
This is a less cyclical role in nature, working on a range of business activities and projects, rather than focused on a monthly reporting timetable.
