Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Payroll Advisor in a market-leading organisation, based around the Walsall area.  Our client is a well-established company that offers an excellent work culture and environment.
 
As a Payroll Advisor, you will be reporting to the Payroll Manager and working in a friendly team environment.  You will be responsible for a range of payroll duties, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.
 
Duties will include but not limited to:

• Processes Payroll for 18,000+ employees
• Supporting different payroll processes for weekly pay, 4 weekly pay and monthly pay in Retail (UK & Ireland)
• Resolve customer/staff queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
• Modify as requested changes in employee data e.g. personal, salary, and other statutory e.g. SSP, SMP, SPP
• Complete standard payroll reports for distribution
• Get involved with process improvement

• Experience in a Payroll position (2 years+ minimum)
• Experience with different payroll software’s such as V-look ups (an advantage)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with high volumes (essential) minimum 2,000-5,000 employees
• End to end payroll experience
