Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Payroll Advisor in a market-leading organisation, based around the Walsall area. Our client is a well-established company that offers an excellent work culture and environment.
As a Payroll Advisor, you will be reporting to the Payroll Manager and working in a friendly team environment. You will be responsible for a range of payroll duties, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.
Duties will include but not limited to:
Processes Payroll for 18,000+ employees
Supporting different payroll processes for weekly pay, 4 weekly pay and monthly pay in Retail (UK & Ireland)
Resolve customer/staff queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
Modify as requested changes in employee data e.g. personal, salary, and other statutory e.g. SSP, SMP, SPP
Complete standard payroll reports for distribution
Get involved with process improvement
You will need the following skills to be successful in this role:
Experience in a Payroll position (2 years+ minimum)
Experience with different payroll software’s such as V-look ups (an advantage)
Excellent communication skills
Experience with high volumes (essential) minimum 2,000-5,000 employees
End to end payroll experience
