Interim Financial Accountant – Public Sector 3-6 Months £300-£400 per day
 
The Company
We are pleased to be supporting a thriving and successful, Education sector organisation in South Birmingham . Due to  restructure they have the need for an experienced Interim Financial  Accountant to get involved in an exciting role. You will be looking at various grant funded projects but also ensure things are effectively pinned down on the balance sheet.
 
Duties
Reporting to the Director of Finance the Interim Financial Accountant will get involved a various duties in order to facilitate effective financial management of multiple projects
 
Duties include:

• Carefully monitor projects for correct revenues, profitability and cost.
• Ensure organisations cashflow position is tracked and accurate
• Examine carefully grant funding projections and cashflow all logged correctly on the ledger

• ACMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA qualified
• The client is very happy to consider Qualified by Experience candidates with Public /Education sector experience
• You will be available to start quite quickly and commit to a 3-6 month assignment
• Good Excel skills able to manipulate data, Pivots and Lookups.
• Track record of working in the public sector and solid understanding of Financial Accounting
