An award-winning and fast-growing organisation is seeking a proactive Treasury Accountant for its Finance department.  This company is dedicated to providing the best service to its clients while maintaining a positive and supportive working environment for its employees.  

The company operate a hybrid working policy with 2-3 days required at its Watford based office, the rest of the week worked remotely.
 
Responsibilities of the Treasury Accountant will include:

• Monitor and forecast cash flow and liquidity
• Perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports
• Manage and reconcile cash balances, bank accounts, and other financial instruments
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions
• Manage investments and ensure adequate liquidity
• Support the month end process where necessary
• Own and run the debt provision including budgeting and forecasting for inclusion in Daily P&L and full year budgets and forecasts
• Process improvement of the cash collection and daily cash reports models
• Drive the automation of the monthly reporting on aged debt
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial performance

• Good understanding and experience of working in treasury
• Experience with building direct and indirect cash flow models and applying in practice
• An understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt
• Strong knowledge of banking relationships and associated arrangements/facilities
