A well-established manufacturing company based in the West Midlands is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team.  The selected candidate will join the team on a temporary basis for a period of up to 3 months and will work in a hybrid capacity, with 1 day a week worked from home.
 
The primary objective of this task is to address the backlog that has resulted from the implementation of SAP. Additionally, the appointed candidate will be responsible for fulfilling various other duties related to accounts payable, including:
 

• General Ledger analysis
• Processing invoices and credit notes
• Reconciling accounts
• Responding to queries from suppliers and internal departments
• Checking, coding and inputting invoices onto the accounting system

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role
• Adept at handling disorderly ledgers and managing excessive backlogs with ease
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Generous salary of up to £190 per day
• Immediate start
• Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.45pm with 45-minute lunch break
• Early finish on Fridays (3.45pm finish)
