Sheridan Maine are working in partnership with a leading international client who are seeking an Interim Head of Financial Reporting to support the business through a busy period.

This role will report into the Chief Financial Officer, leading a small team, you will be either ACA or ACCA Qualified and with a strong technical accounting background.  

As Interim Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting, these will be your key areas of responsibility:

• Preparation of annual statutory accounts for all companies under IFRS 
• Management and preparation of the quarterly group reporting pack
• Support the forecasting, budgeting and strategic plan process
• Managing the month end timetable, ensuring essential deadlines are met
• Manage the monthly account reconciliation review and sign off process
• Completion of management accounts pack
• Be the primary lead throughout the external audit process
• Support internal control and internal audit process

• Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant 
• Top 10 Practice experience would be preferred 
• Experience working in fast paced larger company environment would be an advantage 
• Available to start ASAP
• Sound technical accounting knowledge 
• Commercial and analytical mind-set
• People development and leadership experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
