A leading company based in Wiltshire has an exciting opportunity to join its team on a 3-month fixed term assignment. 
 
Our client has recently changed its accounting procedures following a system upgrade and requires an Accounting Compliance Officer to perform a range of duties and ensure conformance with standard procedures.
 
Responsibilities of the Accounting Compliance Officer will include:

• Review and carry out data accuracy and control compliance checks on all journal submissions
• Effectively communicate with the business to address any identified control issues and follow through to resolution
• Process journals into Oracle within the agreed Service Level Agreements
• Monitor and track journal volumes submitted and identify any consistent trends that require addressing, producing an action plan to minimise failure points
• Produce regular key metrics and trends for submission to management
• Support the team with recharges, balance sheet reconciliation etc.

• Studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/AAT)
• Experience of working under pressure, prioritizing, and managing competing deadlines
• Ability to identify process improvements that deliver quality/efficiency benefits
