Sheridan Maine is working in partnership with a high profile organisation, within the hospitality sector, to recruit a qualified Head of Finance. This is a customer/business facing role so will be based onsite based on the outskirts of Southampton.
This is a key role reporting directly to the Finance Director and takes responsibility for all aspects of accounting for the main operations of the business. Key responsibilities will include:
Business partnering with a number of key stakeholders, including the General Manager and Director of Operations to enable the senior leadership team to improve profitability through managing costs and driving revenues.
Producing monthly management accounts, including P&Ls, balance sheets and cash flow statements
Additionally working closely with the FD to deliver budgets and forecasts including analysis of business financial performance.
Managing a small accounts team and liaison with auditors at year end.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and with an improvement focussed mindset around processes and systems. The ability to communicate at all levels is important to engage with stakeholders so they understand challenges within their business. Ideally you will possess previous experience of working within the hospitality/hotels sector.
