Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an international organisation to assist them in their search for a Finance & Reporting Assistant.  This is a commercially focused accounting finance support role and would suit someone with a finance background who is also competent with data handling and reporting.
 
The organisation operates a hybrid working policy so candidates will be expected to attend the Bath based office 2-3 days per week with the rest worked from home.  This position also offers some competitive benefits and study support.
 
Responsibilities of the Finance & Reporting Assistant will include:

  • Assist in the production of MI and KPI reports to the Board to provide business insight
  • Assist in the production of management accounts
  • Preparation of accruals and prepayments
  • Variance analysis of monthly expenditure by cost centre
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide full assistance to Regional Accountant including ad hoc reporting
  • Production of invoicing for complex projects when required
  • Various reconciliations
 
The successful Finance & Reporting Assistant will require the following skills and experience:
  • Excellent computer and IT skills including Excel
  • Experience of using Power Pivots and Power BI advantageous
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ideally studying towards AAT and/or further finance qualification
