A Group Accountant is being recruited exclusively by Sheridan Maine for a leading global specialist design and manufacturing business based in the Portsmouth area on a hybrid working basis. Working closely with the CFO and the Group Controller the Group Accountant will be pivotal in developing and implementing robust and fit for purpose financial reporting and management accounting.

The key accountabilities include:-

• Management and financial reporting across the Group
• Review of monthly management accounts from overseas manufacturing sites
• Production of Group management accounts and Group reporting pack
• Working with Group and country finance teams and the wider business on strengthening financial governance and controls environment
• Preparing statutory accounts for the UK and other entities in the Group
• Assisting in the production of the Annual Report and Investor presentations

The ideal candidate will:-

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) 
• Ideally have experience of group consolidations along with FX and transfer pricing knowledge
• Probably have worked in an international business and possess manufacturing experience
