Assistant Accountant – HYBRID WORKING (Walsall) – 6-month FTC - £29,000!
The client
A Midlands based retail business is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance function.
The role
In this assistant accounting position, you will:

• Assist with revaluation issues within the balance sheet (after moving to a new system)
• Work with fixed assets and forecast backdated valuations
• Investigation work
• Cashbook entries/ registering assets
• Working with high volumes

• Ideally have experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Have an inquisitive mind to question and challenge processes
• Good excel skills (pivot tables and V lookups)
• Have 2-3 years’ experience in finance
• Comfortable with high volume work

• 6-month FTC
• Up to £29,000
