Sheridan Maine is recruiting for this expanding business based on the outskirts of Southampton. With further growth planned the expansion of the business shows no sign of slowing down so this represents an excellent opportunity to join as Finance Manager.

This role would suit an individual seeking a 1st move from accountancy practice especially if you possess cash management / forecasting experience with your clients.
 
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this key role in the finance team is offered on a hybrid working basis with a minimum of 3 days in the office and some flexibility on working hours. The position will take responsibility for all Treasury and Tax matters for the group of companies, with a key focus on managing and developing cash flow forecasting. A summary of key tasks includes:

• Treasury and Cash Forecasting – Managing group cash and producing daily/periodic cash forecasts around the group’s cash position.
• Tax – Supporting the preparation of corporation tax computations for all the group companies in consultation with external advisors, ensuring VAT compliance and reviewing quarterly returns.
• Management Accounts – Overviewing the accounts for the group’s holding companies feeding any adjustments into the management accounts

Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with core financial accounting skills gained through industry or via practice/professional services. If you have previous experience of cash management & forecasting then this would be a big advantage.
