This role would suit an individual seeking a 1st move from accountancy practice especially if you possess cash management / forecasting experience with your clients.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this key role in the finance team is offered on a hybrid working basis with a minimum of 3 days in the office and some flexibility on working hours. The position will take responsibility for all Treasury and Tax matters for the group of companies, with a key focus on managing and developing cash flow forecasting. A summary of key tasks includes:
- Treasury and Cash Forecasting – Managing group cash and producing daily/periodic cash forecasts around the group’s cash position.
- Tax – Supporting the preparation of corporation tax computations for all the group companies in consultation with external advisors, ensuring VAT compliance and reviewing quarterly returns.
- Management Accounts – Overviewing the accounts for the group’s holding companies feeding any adjustments into the management accounts
Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with core financial accounting skills gained through industry or via practice/professional services. If you have previous experience of cash management & forecasting then this would be a big advantage.
