Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working with an established, forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers based in Bearwood, Birmingham. They are looking for an Accounts Senior who is looking to develop their skills further and progress in their career.
The Role This company is looking for someone who is comfortable in a client-facing role. Duties will include but are NOT limited to:
Managing a portfolio of clients and being the first point of contact for delivering outstanding service
Preparing and completing accounts and tax returns well within reporting deadlines
Providing ad hoc business and tax advice
Supporting and training clients in using cloud accounting software eg. Xero, SAGE, Kashflow, DEXT
Training and mentoring junior members of the team in their professional development
The Person The successful candidate will possess the following:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a practice environment
Qualified or part-qualified in AAT, ACCA, ACA
Someone who can build strong relationships and communicate well with clients
Strong IT skills
Willing to travel into the office 5 days a week
