Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a successful South Coast based organisation that is seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager. As a Finance Manager, you will oversee both the monthly management accounts and the transactional processes of the business.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include but not limited to:
Manage, lead and develop the Transactional Processing team
Be the first point of contact for purchase ledger escalations and high-level authorisations
Manage and run the closing of the month end process to ensure accurate and timely submissions
Establish and maintain robust controls around management accounts
Presentation of monthly management accounts to senior management with clear variance analysis and narrative
Oversee and actively participate in balance sheet reconciliations
Composition and submission of monthly cash flow
Oversee Payroll and ensure efficient accurate and timely delivery of payroll function
Hold and attend regular meetings
Liaise with internal and external auditors
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
Support with ad-hoc projects
Support change and process improvements
In order to be a successful Finance Manager, you will need the following:
Qualified/Newly Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
Excellent leadership skills
Experience of month end processes and production of management accounts
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
