Sheridan Maine are recruiting for an urgent Interim Accountant. This is a full time position that requires someone who can start at short notice. Working a hybrid pattern, based from offices in Wimborne, Dorset, the successful candidate will need to be hands-on and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful applicant will support the Financial Controller in delivering comprehensive management information, key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of the monthly management accounts – including all journal postings
Managing EU entities, so knowledge of trading in Europe would be beneficial
UK VAT and EU VAT / Intrastat & EC Sales Listing
Month end close
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Cash flow analysis
Key Competencies required to be considered for this role:
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Multi-site and subsidiary experience
Strong experience of Management Accounting
Motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
A true team player, with the ability to build strong relationships and take ownership
