A fantastic commercial and analytically focused opportunity working for a leading organisation in the Southampton area. The Senior Finance Analyst will join the Finance Business Partnering team and oversee the planning, forecasting and performance analysis for a business area.
The company operate a hybrid working policy with 2 days a week onsite and the rest worked from home.
Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Analyst/Finance Business Partner will include:
Supply reliable, timely and accurate analysis of financials to finance business partners and the wider business functions
Review financial results and support understanding of performance drivers and variances, proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance and manage risk
Ensure integrity in the link between Finance reports and operational or performance reports
Recommend improvements to functionality and capability of financial reporting systems to increase efficiency and analytical capabilities
Input and support to Finance and other business change projects
Support the capital planning and forecasting process
Work collaboratively with other Senior Analysts to deliver required finance business partnering support
The successful Senior Finance Analyst will require the following skills and experience:
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) preferred
Experience of management reporting, planning or analytics function
Good analysis and presentation skills
Strong business partnering skills
Strong communicator/ collaborator
Competitive salary on offer of up to £55k + bonus.
