Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a well-known retail business that has sites across the country.  The business is recruiting for a Finance Analyst who will join its team based in Essex.  The ideal candidate will have significant financial analysis and modelling experience.
 
The company operate a flexible hybrid working policy with 2-3 days based at its Purfleet head office and the rest of the week worked from home.
 
Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will include:

• Analyse current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement
• Consistently analyse financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
• Interpret financial data to recognise changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
• 1 - 3 years' financial analysis and modelling experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
