Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering a Business Services organisation to recruit a Revenue & Project Accountant.  Our client is an established global business that has seen organic growth since its initial set up over 30 years ago. 
 
The business is seeking a Revenue & Project Accountant who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of UK Revenue as well as focusing on Project Management within the Creative practice group. 
 
Responsibilities of the Revenue & Project Accountant will include:

  • Hosting monthly finance surgeries for specific, targeted practice areas and taking subsequent agreed actions
  • Maintain revenue fee sheets, project budgets and posting revenue journals at month end
  • Helping to agree, review, co-ordinate and post regional revenue allocations
  • Ensuring costs/accruals on projects are recorded in the relevant time and matched to revenue recognition
  • Review accrued revenue monthly with the Client Invoice Administrator to ensure revenue is correct and timely billing
  • Review client recharges to ensure they are treated in line with the contract for each project
  • Helping project managers with draft invoices and billing milestones
  • Driver of PowerBI and Dynamics software usage and best practice
  • Assistance with revenue and project related audit queries annually
 
The successful Revenue & Project Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
  • Project management experience essential
  • Strong business partner who can build robust relationships and is highly collaborative
  • Must be good with numbers and strong attention to detail
