Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering a Business Services organisation to recruit a Revenue & Project Accountant. Our client is an established global business that has seen organic growth since its initial set up over 30 years ago.
The business is seeking a Revenue & Project Accountant who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of UK Revenue as well as focusing on Project Management within the Creative practice group.
Responsibilities of the Revenue & Project Accountant will include:
Hosting monthly finance surgeries for specific, targeted practice areas and taking subsequent agreed actions
Maintain revenue fee sheets, project budgets and posting revenue journals at month end
Helping to agree, review, co-ordinate and post regional revenue allocations
Ensuring costs/accruals on projects are recorded in the relevant time and matched to revenue recognition
Review accrued revenue monthly with the Client Invoice Administrator to ensure revenue is correct and timely billing
Review client recharges to ensure they are treated in line with the contract for each project
Helping project managers with draft invoices and billing milestones
Driver of PowerBI and Dynamics software usage and best practice
Assistance with revenue and project related audit queries annually
The successful Revenue & Project Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
Project management experience essential
Strong business partner who can build robust relationships and is highly collaborative
Must be good with numbers and strong attention to detail
