A fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join an established organisation based in the Bristol area. Reporting into the Management Accountant, the successful individual will have a range of duties including revenue modelling, reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include:
Management, control, analysis and reporting of certain revenue streams including calculation and posting of deferred revenue and accruals
Monitoring, administering, reporting and analysis of revenue
Business partnering support to the commercial department
Responsibility for the operation of systems, controls and processes for selected revenue categories
Provision of modelling, reporting and analysis support assisting the management accountant
Budgeting and forecasting
Production of weekly KPIs to support business users
Preparation of ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Assist with maintenance of key reporting packs including management accounts, budgets and forecasts
Act as a key point of contact for MS D365 queries
Build strong, professional relationships with both internal and external customers
Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard with close attention to detail
Provide ad hoc support and cover for the rest of the Finance team, as required
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent preferred
Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data
Ability to format data and present in the most effective manner
Experience of collating, preparing and reporting management information
Resilient and tenacious, with particular attention to detail.
