Working within the Accounts department this role focuses on both Sales Ledger and Credit Control roles working within a team and being able to work individually.
 
About the role:
 

  • Sales ledger; production of invoices and credit notes and posting these onto their system.
  • Managing an average of 500 accounts.
  • Posting of cash receipts.
  • Communicating with customers.
  • Chasing debt; Euros, Pounds, Dollars.
  • Issuing letters or legislation to collect outstanding money.
  • Update cash flow.
  • Posting invoices.
  • Resolving queries with customers and processing debit notes.
  • Ad hoc duties.
  • Sending emails.
 
The Person:
 
  • Great knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Extensive experience of Credit Control and Sales Ledger.
  • Experience working with complex banking systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Work’s effectively against a deadline.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Preferred knowledge of SAP Business One (Desirable).
  • Member of the Institute of Credit Managers (Desirable).
