A fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused accountant to join a growing and award winning business based in the Bournemouth area. This is a full time office based role to enable the successful candidate to develop extensive business partnering relationships with key stakeholders across the business - the offices are modern and well located and the company often provides complimentary refreshments and lunches.
With a high level of visibility to the Finance Director and other executive stakeholders some of the key responsibilities include:
Developing the business analysis capabilities to provide robust and detailed analysis of revenue and operational drivers for BAU and also commercial project activities. Business partnering to help drive commercial decision making
Business Planning - managing the business planning including budgets, forecasts and long range plans and models including scenario planning
Monthly Financial Analysis to assess performance and to provide insight and commentary on variances including deep dive financial modelling to really understand the data and drivers
The business is seeking to recruit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) ideally with relevant PQE gained within a commercial business in an analytically orientated role. Strong experience of complex financial modellling is essential for success in this opportunity as is a continuous improvement mindset. Some prior technical accounting experience and exposure to a fast growth or technology orientated business would be an advantage.
