Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established organisation to recruit an Accounts Payable Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working in an Accounts Payable Supervisor role.
The company offer a very flexible working arrangement, with just 2 days a week being required at their central London office, the rest can be worked from home or office.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Supervisor will include:
Manage, coach and support the Accounts Payable team
Oversee all payment transactions and ensure transactions are delivered in accordance with agreed SLA’s
Responsible for the full end to end accounts payable process, including monthly overhead cost allocation journals, accurate postings of GL entries, reconciliations and KPI reporting
Responsible for producing various AP status reports
Ensure all queries are responded to, logged and escalated as appropriate
Ensure that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness
Ensure that supplier bank details are obtained, verified and maintained
Review and approve employee expense claims
Responsible for the cash advance process
Contribute to AP process improvement initiatives as required
The successful Accounts Payable Supervisor will require the following attributes:
Experience in a financial accounts environment
Excellent organisational skills
Strong management skills
Ability to communicate effectively and build good relationships with suppliers and colleagues
