Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering an established organisation to recruit a Group Statutory Accountant.  This position requires a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with 1-2 years’ PQE.
 
The company operate a hybrid working pattern with 2 days a week in the office located close to London Bridge.
 
Key responsibilities of the Group Statutory Accountant will include:

• Leading on the preparation of the Group’s Statutory Financial Statements
• Responsible for Statutory account adherence to FRS102 reviewing presentation and accounting processes against standards
• Liaising with the external auditors including liaising with the wider finance team in responding to queries and maintaining the audit trail
• Reviewing critical accounting areas to ensure compliance with FRS102
• Supporting with the implementation of major Finance transformation projects

• Strong commercial awareness
• Solid technical and practical knowledge of the principles of financial accounting and financial statements e.g. FRS102
• Strong audit background
• Experience with Sun Accounting System (desirable)
