Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk?  Have you managed the full cycle accounts payable process including payment runs? Do you have strong communication skills and the ability to tackle difficult queries? If so, I would love to hear from you.  My client is a successful business that is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk for an interim period of 6 months.
 
Based at their central London head office, you will ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately, adhering to all agreed timelines and compliance.
 
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk will include:

  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
  • Setting up new accounts
  • Processing employee expense claims
  • Managing outstanding queries over the phone and by email
  • Running Aged Creditor reports and chasing departments for outstanding invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Matching the purchase orders
  • Responsible for the payment runs
  • Assisting with the company’s fleet management
  • Other ad-hoc duties where required
 
You will ideally have at least two years of experience with a strong Accounts Payable skill set.  Strong Excel skills (pivot tables / v look ups), good communication skills and a target driven, and hard-working attitude are key.
 
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
