Sheridan Maine is delighted to be collaborating with an award-winning organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Co-ordinator. Based at the firm’s Poole headquarters, the successful candidate will complete a range of payroll related tasks.
Key duties of the Payroll Co-ordinator will include:
Accurately collate and validate all payroll related data
Processing all new starters, leavers and contractual changes
Preparation of payroll transfer journal and recharges
Dealing with, and resolving payroll related queries
Monitoring/controlling nominal ledger code changes within payroll
Reconciliation of pension and payroll control accounts in the nominal ledger
Implementation of Wage Awards for all Companies
P11d’s and Class 1A National Insurance returns
Assisting with internal and external audits
Administration in relation to Pension Schemes
Conducting ongoing reviews of processes and actions
Provision of a range of reports
The successful Payroll Co-ordinator will require the following skills and experience:
UK payroll exposure is essential
Solid understanding of pension schemes and auto enrolment
Ability to resolve complex payroll and pension queries and explain them in a simple and clear manner
