Sheridan Maine is proud to be working with an IT services company that is recruiting a European VAT Compliance & Accounting Analyst into its team based in Ruislip.  This is an interesting and varied role that reports into the EMEA Tax Manager.
 
The company operate a hybrid working policy with 3-4 days required at their Ruislip based office. 
 
Responsibilities of the European VAT Compliance & Accounting Analyst will include:

• Preparing and submitting approximately 10-15 VAT including EC Sales/Intrastat returns across Europe
• Monitor and advise relevant CA’s regarding European VAT legislation
• Responsible for correct SAP master data management from a VAT perspective
• Support ad hoc VAT queries from key stakeholders and departments like Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and Legal
• Supporting and responsible for relations with third parties including Tax Authorities in cooperation with local finance departments
• Responsible for general accounting (R2R) processes in various entities
• Support in tax and statutory accounts processes
• Support Tax and VAT audits
• Other Requirements

• Experience of working in a similar role
• Good knowledge of SAP system
• A self-starter and has a meticulous approach towards compliance work
