Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering a Hospitality chain that is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant/Payroller.  This role would ideally suit someone who is AAT qualified or studying towards qualification, but this is not essential - our client is more focused on finding a personable and enthusiastic individual. 
 
The successful candidate will be based at the firm’s headquarters located in northeast Somerset with occasional flexibility to work from home on an ad-hoc basis.
 
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant/ Payroller will include:

• Weekly entry of timesheets
• Weekly review of discrepancies between timesheets and PeopleHR for submission to HR
• Supporting the monthly processing of payroll
• Entry of payments onto Sage Payroll and reconciliation to Paycalcs
• Processing starters, leavers, birthday holidays, age related increases and other amendments
• Uploading of daily sales takings to Advanced Financials
• Processing rent and supplier invoices
• Reconciling statements
• Investigating any order variances over agreed tolerance
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Setting up new supplier accounts

• 2+ years’ experience in an accounts department
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
