Sheridan Maine is delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger accounts, including preparing journal entries for accruals and variances and performing a range of month end activities.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant will include:
Ensuring all monthly prepayments and accrual journals are processed
Working within the General Ledger team, supporting the Accountants
Liaising with other teams in order to meet deadlines
Make sure all invoices are raised correctly and on time
Completing balance sheet reconciliations
Completing monthly ledger revaluations
Assist the team with the month end process
Competencies required for the role of Accounts Assistant:
AAT qualified or studying
Proficient in Excel
SAP experience would be desirable
