Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a market leader in the Industrial Manufacturing industry. This is an inclusive and ambitious business who are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their team.  This position would suit a personable individual who has the confidence and experience to work on their own initiative along with the desire to develop their skillset and grow with the business.
 
The successful candidate will be based at the firm’s Coleshill office and will be expected to manage a wide variety of bookkeeping and accounts tasks.
 
Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant will include:

• Processing Purchase Ledger
• Processing sales ledger payments and carrying out ad-hoc credit control
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Assisting with quarterly VAT returns
• Dealing with customer related queries for sales and purchase ledger

• Experience of working in a similar role
• Strong IT and MS Excel skills
• Willing to learn and develop
• Ability to challenge processes
