Sheridan Maine are partnering with a leading business in their field to recruit for an Apprentice Accounts Assistant join their team with the opportunity to develop and grow with the organisation.
The successful candidate will join the finance team to be mentored and trained with 1 day per week at college to study towards your accounting qualification
Initial day to day accounting tasks will include:
Assisting with the processing invoices
Daily banking
Filing of financial records
Dealing with queries
To be considered for this role you should have the following skills and experience:
Driven and self-motivated with a desire to start a career in accountancy
Studying AAT Level 2 as a minimum
GCSE Mathematics and English grade C or above
Good time management and communication skills
High level of attention to detail
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
