Sheridan Maine is pleased to be partnering an established organisation that has a temporary opportunity for a Finance Manager. The position will be hybrid working, with site based days at their brand new offices in Yeovil. The assignment will be to cover until the permanent candidate starts in June and will require an immediate start.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include but are not limited to:
Production of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
Development of new reporting packs
Provision of variance analysis
Work closely with the CFO to enhance budget and planning processes
Cash forecasting and management
Review, update and improve current processes and reporting
Manage, mentor and develop members of the team to grow with the business
Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to ensure efficient audit completion
Ad-hoc support to senior management
Act as deputy for the CFO
The successful Finance Manager will require the following attributes:
Experience of working in project accounting preferred
Customer/stakeholder focused and experienced in communicating financial knowledge across all levels within a corporate environment
This role sits within IR35.
