An opportunity for a Finance Assistant with a growing and entrepreneurial organisation based in Poole.  This is a fantastic chance for a forward-thinking Finance Assistant to gain exposure within a fast-paced business and work a varied and pivotal role within the Finance Department.
 
Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include:

• Responsible for sales ledger control, review of aged debtor balances and credit control
• Inputting all purchase ledger documents, expenses and credit card transactions
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Weekly payment runs
• Posting bank transactions and completing bank account reconciliations
• Posting credit card transactions and completing the weekly credit card reconciliation
• Completion of monthly journals
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual audit file

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Finance / Accounts Assistant
• Experience in a fast-paced finance team dealing with multi-currency transactions
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Experience of reconciliation work in a business with high transaction volumes
