A leading business is recruiting for a Credit Controller who will join its team based in east London.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a supportive organisation and find good career growth.
 
Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:

• Maintain aged debts and pro-actively monitor invoice collections
• Chasing payments via telephone and email
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and ensure the Credit Control Manager is informed of any account issues
• Sales ledger reconciliation
• Opening accounts and setting credit limits per the company’s credit policy
• Monitor creditworthiness of existing customers
• Evaluate accounts for debt collection and legal action, escalate where appropriate to the Credit Control Manager
• Post and allocate customers receipts
• Answer queries and enquiries from internal and external customers

• Minimum of 3 years credit control experience
• Well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously
• Possess a good understanding of Great Plains or a similar windows-based package
